art crit thing last night (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=7059433634) was super-helpful. it's good to be confronted, to be forced to justify or attempt to comprehend what's most important, why you make certain choices, to have eleven people speculating on what could be changed or improved.

did get a new camera yesterday but didn't have time to take it out of the box, charge the battery, etc. feels a little odd not to have a camera in my pocket. by sometime tomorrow will be a camera-carrier again.
